Field System Feedback Session

- Soundcard wanted for alarms, for telling when something is wrong
  (voice synthesizer?)  

- Highlight fields with problems (color or inverse)

- more clearly show which channel/track has which PE rate + history of
  PE readings, may be a la NRAO FS. Use separate window.

- multi receiver system support: TCAL, switching ....

- clock via XNTP? -> formatter

- Formatter error messages are confusing -> remove unnecessary
  ones. Sometimes a lot of messages with no problem being present
  (communications problems? is this fixed by the latest formatter
  upgrade?

- Prioritization of errors? red, yellow, blue .... graphical interface
  for displaying them.

- could station interface programming be simpler? (HP1000 stuff left in
  FS? e.g. class I/O) use UNIX interprocess communications. Is this a
  documentation problem? Clarified API needed.

- FS sometimes freezes X-server?! 

- Possible Linux problem when having 2 ethernet cards.

- Kernel upgrades: what limits this? How often? New hardware?

- Could FS be like any other Linux (Debian) package?

- More flexibility for more than 1 recording system

- Standardized observing messages (is already available?) to web page.

- Standard for SEFD measurements: Log? ... (like previous point)

- Community VERY thankful for what Ed does.
