  • To provide a service to support geodetic, geophysical and astrometric research and operational activities.
  • To interact with the community of users of VLBI products and to integrate VLBI into a global Earth observing system.
  • To promote research and development activities in all aspects of the geodetic and astrometric VLBI technique.

August Newsletter (August 1)
The August issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the website. This issue features ESA's Genesis satellite mission.

April Newsletter (April 1)
The April issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the website. This issue features the IVS Correlator at the Vienna Center for VLBI.

2024 General Meeting Proceedings (March 19)
The Proceedings from the 2024 General Meeting held in Tsukuba, Japan, were posted to the website. The Proceedings are published online only.

Call for 2023+2024 Biennial Report (January 28)
The IVS Directing Board invites all IVS components to submit reports for the IVS 2023+2024 Biennial Report. The 2023+2024 Biennial Report will cover the calendar year from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024. Reports are due by February 28, 2025.
